About

I am an 8th grade math teacher and former instructional coach in Nebraska. I use this site to keep track of the resources that I use the most regularly and/or find the most helpful. I decided to make this a public space in the hopes that it might be useful for a broader audience than just myself!

If you would like to receive updates regarding the various resources I'm discovering (articles, web sites, etc.), I am managing these in two ways -- 1) by sharing my Diigo links, and 2) by writing blog posts. Here are the nitty-gritty details:

1) Check out my Diigo links on the right-hand side as well as at the bottom of the page. (I have them on here three different ways, so you can decide which one you like best...if you tell me which one you like best and where you'd like it on the page, I can probably even move it for you.) Any links I've discovered and bookmarked / annotated lately will be in those lists. You can check this out at any time to see anything interesting I've found lately. And, if you know how to use an RSS reader (like Google Reader), you can even subscribe to my Diigo updates by clicking on the little orange RSS icon in the More Recent Diigo's box. (Alternatively, you could join Diigo and follow me on Diigo.)

2) Check out my blog posts on the Home tab. When I find something particularly noteworthy, I'll write a brief blog post about it. (It may or may not hit the Diigo feed, depending on whether it's something like a link / article, or a download such as a cool freebie on TeachersPayTeachers.com). Obviously you could check out my posts anytime, or if you want to be notified of new posts, you can sign up to follow my blog -- look for the 'Subscribe To...' and 'Follow by Email' sections on the right-hand side of the page, below my Diigo links. There, you will find options for signing up via RSS or email.

Note: If all of this looks like gibberish to you, and you just want to receive email updates, email me and I will add your email subscription to my blog updates for you. You will then receive a verification email from FeedBurner asking you to verify that you really wanted to request an email subscription to my blog...just click the link in the email and you are subscribed.

Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions, as well as if you have any suggestions about how I could improve any of this process for you (e.g. if you'd like updates posted to Twitter or Facebook, or anything else I maybe haven't thought of).
